In lieu of shopping today, I had a dance party in my backyard. Yes. That’s right. Dance Par-Tay. It is a motivational exercise I participate in sometimes when I’m feeling blue or lethargic. Because I cannot participate in supporting Target’s Calypso launch, and because every time I look in my closet lately I want to barf, drastic measures had to be taken. Did I mention that, once again, I can’t open the closet door? Somebody’s been having a party in there. The place is trashed. A shoe and handbag mountain is causing quite the impediment. Sigh. The blockade forced me to select the only pant I could snatch readily, and without injury. Yes, I did wear these to work. A young lady who admired them at lunch said she could never pull them off. “Neither can I , really”, I thought. However, they were the only thing I could pull out. A girl’s gotta do, what a girl’s gotta do!
After the party, I felt better. My closet, however, is still hungover.
